Addressing
the issues of teacher in the Private secondary schools across the country by
issues of government, the National president of Union in Nigeria COMRADE MICAHEL OLUKOYA made the call
on the association of this year’s teacher’s day in Abuja, Nigeria.
According
to the reporter of the incident from Abuja, who said that this year’s
celebration marks the 50th anniversary of the abduction of the International Labor Organization (ILO), as
the west code commendation on the status of the teachers at the special environmental
trust fund in Paris on the 5th of October, 1966. The Nigerian Union
of teachers also marks this year’s celebration next week in view of their
coming to section in the country. The national President of the Union COMRADE MICAHEL OLUKOYA used the
occasion to demand for an increase in teacher’s salary, still according to him,
he said that considering the salaries arrears paid to teachers in Nigeria from
1965 by the three levels of the government, it is nothing to write home about,
urging them for an increase in teacher’s salaries.
COMRADE MICAHEL OLUKOYA also urged the federal government to recruit any
professional teachers in recent connection with the Teacher’s Registration Council of Nigeria, in the first nine thousand (9000) per group
recruitment. The Minister of Education MALAM
ADAMU ADAMU represented by a woman strict to call to the ministry MRS. ULOMA AZUBUIKE, who initiated
government commitment addressing the plight of teachers in the country. According
to MRS. ULOMA AZUBUIKE she said that
the minister has advised the need to ensure that the teachers are qualified to
meet the needed standard of Education in the country considering the derail in quality
education delivery in the country.
The
occasion has also given them a platform to re-value their contribution to
national development towards education in the country. According to their
contributions; they were all lamenting that lack of teacher’s salary payment
will drastically affect the educational sector in the country. The theme of
this year’s celebration is “Valued Job Increasing Their Status” .
On
the Other hand, during the celebration of teacher’s day in Umuahia the capital
of Abia State in Nigeria, marking teaching aids and pro-advisers of teachers were
identified, extinguishing challenges confronting teachers in Abia State. The

AKPARANTA explained that most teachers in the state stake from black board
to teach their students is proving serious high standard to them. The standard
of the teachers in the state are being earned salary award ranging from 4 to 5
months in primary and secondary schools indecent to the laid commission. The
Nigerian Union of Teachers’ chairman urged the teachers to take their works
serious as the Union is committed to ensure that their rights are appropriated.

IKE CHINWEJI called on the teachers to be focused and dedicated in the
discharge of their duties, stressing directives are issued to experts to award
their salaries being owed them.

still in education sector, in Edo state Nigeria, GOVERNOR ADAMS OSHOMOLE said that he will continue to improve quality
education that will benefit all Nigerian children, and should be main engaged labor, HENRY ONGARY who is at the department
stated this while addressing teachers on the issues: the way teaching is done. According
to the reporter who said that addressing the members of the Nigerian Union of
teachers (NUT) GOVERNOR ADAMS OSHOMOLE, challenged
