WASTE SPILLAGE INFORMATION ON OGBETE MAIN MARKET IN ENUGU STATE NIGERIA

Also the secretary of the Association   MR. PHILIP IKEDI said that it had become reoccurrence events since 2002 which needed a permanent solution. A member of the association of public health provision Enugu Chapter DR. IJEOMA OKEANWU stated that the drain from the septic tank has adverse implication as it produces epidemic

Also wanting from the complaint: The Controller Nigerian Prisons Enugu State Command MR. AMALA said the spill was not intentional and the facilities in the prisons has been over stressed, according to him he said that the best solution to the spillage is to take over in the process of innovation which he also suggested the means to do so.

The commissioner for Environment in Enugu State in Nigeria, CHIEF FIDEL ALUOGO, stated that he has worked with the present authority and was waiting for report on the matter which will be considered by the state government. According to the commissioner who advised them that if they are having this type of difficulty in the market premises that they should make immediate report to the ministry of Environment Enugu State whose duty is to assist in the environmental issues by making it known to the state government.

Also a constitutional lawyer and a human right activist DR. GODSMAN OKAFOR explained that there were provisions that support rights of citizens to decent environment which should of be violated.
