THE CURRENT ISSUES IN THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY AND HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES IN NIGERIA

MR EZE ONYEKWERE advised members of the national assembly to enroll from the current disagreement in the house of representative over the allegation granted pardon to prevent reoccurrence. He gave the advise on politics over nationwide at the radio Nigeria Network Program.

MR EZE ONYEKWERE said that the legislature should have lobbed its executive to do the identified and explicit project in to the budget. According to him, he said that a good budget is defend at the initial level where it will be prepared and presented to the Federal Executive councils, and by the time it might have reached the National Assembly where it will be presented there will be no need for further clarification but instead they work hold to correct project afresh which is wrong. That the person presenting this budget should have done the primary necessary assessment to correct issue before it gets to the national assembly like the person should have done first study, environmental inter cost and technical points, these pointed supposed to have been nominated by all means before presenting the project so that when you pass the project in the house things will be ready and moving as expected.

Another guest on the program is a political Analyst MR. DOYE who cut the findings in the budget to create jobs in the formal sector. According to   MR. DOYE he said that the more project are funded the more contract are being executed which reduces unemployment and at the end of the day something is achieved from the budget.

Also a call from Lagos State MR. BISHOP ESONG said that the law makers should not determine their constituency project, according to MR. BISHOP ESONG, he said that he doesn’t see the reason we should have virtual orientate project, that Nigeria should discuss on any project on Nigerian standard before execution and he also points out that after all that Nigeria has a militia for all the state of the federation in this regard.

Also another commenter from the social media on this issue, MR VICTOR NWOKPORO said that lack of proper communication between the executive and the legislatives was responsible for recent controversies over barged pardon.

The Nigerian Navy Reformed Commission also said it will be realistic to practice the tenet of the bill seeking to appropriate the tax of government agencies to determine taxes, duties and fees over the approval of the national assembly. A commissioner in the commission MR. CHIBUEZE OKORIE stated this to the public hearing of the bill organized by the house of representative committee on delegated legislation. MR. OKORIE said that some provision will be well impracticable.

 The chairman of the committee: MR. SIMON ALABO urged stakeholders to make their input into the bill as that will form the basis of the decision to be reached by the house on resumption. And that is the current news on the both houses.
