CURRENT EVENTS FROM JOS THE CAPITAL OF PLATEU STATE IN NIGERIA

The former Vice President ATTIKU ABUBAKAR has called on leader at all levels to govern with equity and fairness, ALHJI ATTIKU stated this when Plateau State Governor SIMON ALLUM paid a visit to his welfare resident  in Jos Plateau State Nigeria. The former vice president said that the security of the citizenry should be given priority to enhance economic development of the country Nigeria.

ALHJI ATTIKU commended Governor SIMON ALLUM for his effort towards united ethnic group which gives priority to the enhancement of economic development in the country and his developmental stride so far achieved within one year of his tenure in the office. He also urged GOVERNOR SIMON ALLUM to always ensure justice to all his respective jurisdiction affiliations.

GOVERNOR SIMON ALLUM who also commended the former Vice President for his input in National development.

 Also following the trend is the commander of General Operation Safe Heaven in Jos the same Plateau state Nigeria MAJOR GENERAL ROGERS NICOLAS has warned officers and men under his command against human right abuses. MAJOR GENERAL ROGERS NICOLAS gave the warning while interacting with officers and men of sector line of the security outfit in the Ria local government area of Plateau state.

So far it been reported that the commander was on team inspect formation by his command,  according to the reporter from Jos who also specified that MAJOR GENERAL ROGERS NICOLAS charged officers and men last week to abide with laws of engagement by the operations which are  said has thrashed some out. According to him some has been given various disappointments, discharged from their duty and also reduced from their Rank for this same purpose. He also reprimanded on their duties which is to protect the people in line with the team demand of the present administration.

MAJOR GENERAL ROGERS NICOLAS reminded the soldiers on the need to enact peace in the country, according to him, he said the soldiers has to understand the concept of oneness and great campaign and on a role run on the rural areas on how to live together no matter the circumstance they found themselves, the commander was at Iyaboko local government area where he met their local government chairmen, religious and traditional rulers as well as the heads of the security agencies; where he called for additional truth which the commander MR. GRI OBLAJI comment on.

Meanwhile the caretaker committee chairman of the two local governments MASWELL BOXING OVIUM, AMUKA AMAQUIN DUBOI OBUKO have a specific demand which according to him, he said that that it is these religious and traditional leaders, especially the youth are the one to create more problem. The commander was also at one community which was the 6^th to be displayed by herdsmen where it was observed that the people has boarder returned although it was alleged that part of their farm where forcedly collected from them by herdsmen, the drive along the van showed the litters on their farm while 100 meter away herds men were seen monitoring their cattle as they graze on the farm, a sign of peace in the area.
