The National Security Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is to collaborate with the Society of Family positions in Nigeria to provide health care services to the victims of disaster and emergency in the country. In a better presentation, PROFESSOR MOHAMMED IBRAHIM of PTDL who spoke on the topic Bio Fuel Nigerian’s New Reality explained it became necessary for the key players in the Nation’s economy to capitalize on the opportunity provided in a dilemma certification policy of the federal government to achieve the drive towards renewable energy. According to him he also advised that the right thing is to have the right policy and to also have the right institution that will drive the policy. And most important is to have an appropriate legal and regulatory frame work.

Representative of the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria the Deputy Director Research Department MR. LAWRENCE ODE said funding is the key in achieving the goal of Bio fuel development. Also the Executive Director in the institute for Agriculture Research in the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Nigeria PROFESSOR IBRAHIM ABUBAKAR pointed out that farm produce which is necessary in the development Bio Fuel should be grown in the country on the large scale.

The minister of State for Petroleum Resources DR. IBEKA UKACHUKWU who was represented on the occasion by the TIM UKON reiterated federal commitment to a sustainable renewable energy. According to him he said that as part of their guide they have to look at how they can help to support a viable industry that also does not result in fuel insecurity and that is prioritization they need to play. Still on his comment DR. UKACHUKWU advised Nigerians to invite current drive initiatives in the Oil and Gas sector to enhance the growth and development of the nation’s economy.

Also in Delta state Nigeria, the governor of the state IFEANYI OKOWA had described as worrisome as the state loses 250 barrels of oil production daily to activities of oil pipeline vandals. Governor OKOWA who stated this in Asaba to media forum said 80% of vandalized pipelines are in Delta State. According to correspondent report of the incident who said that Governor OKWA who noted with dismayed in drop in oil production in the state said the SPDC (Shell Petroleum Development Company) Pipeline vandalized by aggrieved militants were yet to be fixed. The governor said that the pipeline had not been exporting oil since February last year (2016). The situation had brought the state to the fourth largest oil producer in the country. He appealed to the SPDC to take urgent steps to repair the pipeline. According to the Governor OKOWA who said that he is appealing to SPDC to repair the main state pipelines which pushes oil across the state.

On the official recent visit of the Acting President YEMI OSIBANJO to the state to meet with relevant stakeholders in the oil rich community of the Baramatu, GOVERNOR OKOWA said that he would help aid oil pipeline vandalism in the area. He also said that his administration will help to accord priority to peace and security. He said that effort were being intensified to straighten the tough club governor’s forum and embrace commission to make it impart positively on region.

CURRENT INSURGENCY CRIME IN NIGERIAN STATES OF FEDERATION

Nigerians had been advised to be aware of mal tactics that had been used by the suicide bombers in the North – East of Nigeria. Also in the Lagos State Police Command Nigeria had identified secondary school students involved in Cultism terrorizing the resident of Ikoyi, the police group attached to the Wayiga Division also arrest a suspected Burglar from the hands of the angry Mob in the area on his way to break into an apartment.

According to the correspondent report of the incident who said that there are some few students arrested in the Ikoyi area of Lagos state alleged causing maim and harm with some deadly weapons. FIFTY YOUTH SELECTED FROM THE 36 STATES OF NIGERIA FOR COURSE OF AGRICULTURAL AND OTHER VOCATIONAL SKILLS IN ORDER TO REDUCE UNEMPLOYMENT AND POVERTY IN NIGERIA AT THE OFFICE CENTRE INSTITUTE OF AGRICULTURE OLUPENA OSUN STATE IN NIGERIA IN COLLABORATION WITH NNPC

It is part of effort to reduce unemployment and poverty in Nigeria, fifty (50) youths selected from the thirty six (36) states of the federation in course of Agricultural and other vocational skills at the office centre institute of Agriculture Olupena Osun State in Nigeria, in collaboration with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

According to the correspondent of report of the program said that the fifty youth were selected amongst seven hundred applicants who applied for the program, the journey was sponsored by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation in some related companies. In the lecture, the head department of Animal Science PROFESSOR JACOB BABAYEMI said the need for the youth to apply for the prerequisite business principles that will enable them excel in their vocations. According to him, he also said that the business you have chosen and the direction you hope to go about it as well as being determined to succeed forms part of the basic business principle needed to succeed in their vocations.

The chairman on the occasion HIGH CHIEF EDDY AWALE, who is the ASHIFALUDON of Ibadan land, represented by DAN OSIBALOGUN, CHIEF BAYO ALUBI  urged the youth to make good use of the skills acquired for their social and economic development.

Representatives of the good General Manager National Petroleum Investment General Services in Subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation said that the organization also keyed in to the Agricultural Agenda of the Federal Government to contribute to the empowerment of the youth. THE RESCUE OF THE EIGHT ABDUCTED STAFF AND STUDENTS OF NIGERIAN TURKISH INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE ABEOKUTA, OGUN STATE NIGERIAN AFTER ELEVEN DAYS OF CAPTIVITY

The government of Ogun state in Nigeria Governor IBIKULE OMOSUN has assured investors in the state of their safety. The governor gave the assurance while receiving the eight abducted staff and students of the Nigerian Turkish International College rescued by Nigerian Security operatives after eleven days in captivity. According to the correspondent report which stated that the staff and students of the institution expressed happiness for the effort made in recuing them.

The correspondent reports that that according Governor IBIKULE OMOSUN, Ogun state will not be a safe place for criminals, the governor said necessary measures had been put in place to sustain peaceful atmosphere being enjoyed in the state. Governor OMOSUN commended security agencies that were involved in the rescue operation and congratulated the victims and their relatives for their safe return of the students and their staff and also urged them not to be discouraged but continue to be peaceful in their dealings. According to the Governor who also said that anybody that wants to give the state headache will be tolerated and as a result he is encourage the security agencies to go after them and hunt them down so that it will serve as an example to others who will want to get involved in such criminal acts.

While handing the victims over to the Governor, the commissioner of Police in the state MR. AHMED IYASO said the operation was continues one as they were still pursuing some of the criminal that were involved in the Kidnap. According to the police commissioner who also said that nobody is now safe and nobody can despair the things involved in the big crime and activity, that this is just the beginning until the criminals are caught.

OHA CAPTAIN thanked the president and the security agencies for the rescue operations and the parents as well as the Deputy Director of the SUN Newspaper MR. STEPH NWOSU said that parents were happy with the rescue effort of the security agencies and thanked the Ogun State Security Agencies for their rescued efforts. According to Him he also specified that they were all in it together when it happened and they are very happy even with the parents the way the events had turned out in their favor.

Some of the rescued staff and students also thanked the government for their rescued effort, according to one of the staff who thanked the security operators for their effort as well as congratulated the parents and other staff for support in prayer expressed her gratitude and was optimistic over the whole issue.

According to the security operatives, some of the mastermind of the kidnap had already been tested, investigated and arrested.
