The
Nigerian First Bank Plc is issuing serious warning to their customers to
safeguard their banking details both online banking detail and ATM banking
detail. This is to prevent the prevailing banking crime perpetrating the
banking sector in this present ICT world. Lots of people had been duped
ignorantly because of unaware of these facts. The bank has also specified dimensions
to achieve this effortlessly. And these dimensions are loophole the scammers
cease to hack the account of ignorant ones. They are as follow:
The
first bank plc said that you should not reveal your online banking pins like
ATM, online password and token numbers to anyone close to you, or even say it
out to their hearing as the hackers are roaming about sourcing information on
how to hack into prominent ones and dupe them of their money.
They
also further said that you should not open a link or respond to suspected mails
as specified in my previous articles requesting your bank details or having
first bank website requesting for update, it is better you go to the first bank
offices close to your domain and request for the correct online website for
easy online banking transactions.
Again,
the First bank PLC is issuing a warning that you should not reply to any phone
call claiming to be first bank demanding for ATM Pin and internet banking
details as many had been duped through such means, should incase any number or
personality you know do that, kindly report to authorities of first bank plc at
their email: abuse@firstbanknigeria.com
and disregard such scamming phone call.
On
a more notice and security purpose, do not save your banking details especially
pins on your phone because the internet scammer has ceases Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
in accessing people phone stealing Airtime, MB and sourcing important
information with their personal computer having plug-in gadgets like skimming equipment
and do not write it on a book or dairy as African men uses their black magic
for seeing the invisible things. Today many people in Nigeria especially
churches has cease such means in 419, government should investigate such act
and try to arrest the perpetrator and instigators of such mystical act in the
society which has encouraged evil vices including stealing by trick.
Finally,
always confirm suspicious email and phone calls and send it to abuse@firstbanknigeria.com, I think
these will help to curb the crime of internet banking and ensure security to
customers of first bank plc.
