The British Support Foundation is to be helped 500 to 2000 houses
being engulfed in angular Local Government areas of Yobe State Nigeria, the
parts of the victims and the victims of insurgency defined the activities. The

SANDRA ECHECHE while alleged Agro Based intervention being grant to the victims
in BinLadi the headquarters of VITIBU
Local Government Area.
According to the reporter from Yobe State Nigeria, he said
under the Agro Based intervention for victims of insurgency the beneficiary
will receive proceeds of Millet, Sorghum, Cowpea and Fertilizer for this
farming season. According to the executive director of the victims Suffered
Fund PROFESSOR SANDRA ECHECHE, the
measure was to enable people that retire to the communities invaded by the
Nigerian Armies to continue their farming business which will help to improve
Agriculture and create a sustainable recovery of the loses. PROFESSOR ECHECHE further announced the
donation of N20,000.00 in each of the beneficiary to meet their financial needs
while assuring that the victim Support Fund will provide additional support in
Educational development, Economy, Empowerment as well as Building and
reconstruction of destroyed communities.
The Executive Secretary of the Yobe State Emergency Management
Agency in Nigeria, ALHJI MUSA MUBI
JIGAWA said it is another step
towards promoting recovery and livelihood to allow the victims live their
normal life. ALHJI MUSA MUBI JIGAWA also
appeal for more support from various Agencies and other well meaning Nigerians
for their insurgency dispute, some of the beneficiaries MALLAM BADAGANA and AWAH
AKUMU, and the Victim Support
Fund in juncture has promised to use the items judiciously.
Last week on report carried out by Radio Nigeria on plight of
the returning IDPs, they are all in support to go back to their farms and renew
their dependency on food donation.
