AFRICAN CUP OF NATION QUALIFIER KICKS OFF IN KADUNA TODAY


The 2017 African Cup of Nation qualifier kicks off in a few hours today being Friday 25th March, 2016 at Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna, Nigeria between Nigeria and Egypt, the assistant Coach of super eagle Salisu Issu said despite the magnitude of the task ahead, the Nigerian team is tactically and psychologically ready. He also said that the weather in Kaduna will not hamper the weather.
The Match will kick off at 5.00pm with Mechida Ogeyi Onazi unavailable due with Red Card Suspension but will feature on a return leg next week Tuesday. The team trained yesterday being Thursday by 3.00pm getting ready for the main Match today.

The Super eagle will be paid their match Bonus for the 2018 world Cup qualifier against Switzerland; the players are to receive $5000 dollars each for total win at home in November, payment was delayed after the Nigerian Football Federation asked the player to open foreign currency account.  It is hoped that the Joshua will fire the team to get a win against Egypt today. Meanwhile John Mikel Obi is the new Nigeria Captain after Ahmed Musa relinquishes the position at Kaduna. Today saying : “it is right to realize the wrong previously done” last year Ahmed Musa was named super eagle keeper by super eagle’s keeper Sunday Olise who overlooked the seniority in the team which would have installed vice captain Mikel as chief captain in retirement of  Captain Vincent anyama in the international football.

 It had been gathered that Egypt rejected the nice Hotel booked for them by the Nigerian football Federation and decided to put up at the Hanssan Pyramid Hotel Kaduna. They breeze into Kaduna, wait late night and aboard a chartered flight and things started down in Northern Nigerian City. All is now set for 6th the edition of the Nigeria Boxing board of control, boxing night as a tournament will offer a block as entertainment welcome back boxing on football.
