THE 2016 BADGE (A) NATIONAL YOUTH SERVICE CORPS (NYSC) ORIENTATION CAMP IN ISELUKU, DELTA STATE NIGERIA IN NIGERIA

  
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has been advised to take advantage of various permanent programs during the service year. Delta State Government DR. IFEANYI OKORA stated this at Iseluku orientation camp during the opening of the 2016 Badge A pair.

According to the reporter the 2016 Badge A CORPS members stood under the discussion sun according to their platoons at the orientation camp at Iseluku, Delta State in Nigeria as directed to be inducted into the NYSC scheme. Declaring the orientation camp open Delta State Governor DR. IFEANYI OKOWA Represented by His Deputy MR. KINGSLEY TAIWO tasked the corps members to be patriotic and to contribute to the development of whatever community they found themselves. MR. OKOYE also advised the inductees to take advantage of the skill acquisition program in camp to prepare themselves for the future.

Delta State Coordinator NYSC MRS. OLIVE ATUKUDU said a total of 1700 Corp members comprising 830 males and 870 females had been registered for the induction in to the scheme. MRS ATUKUDU noted her team had made all necessary arrangement to ensure that the program of orientation course go according to the plans. The coordinator also listed the challenges in the cam to include:
(1)               Lack of Office Accommodation
(2)               Incomplete construction of perimeter fencing
(3)               Inadequate Toilet and insufficient toilet

Highlight of the occasion was the Administration of the allegiance of the corps member by the Chief Judge of Delta State HON. JUSTICE MARSHAL UMUOKORO represented by JUSTICE CO OGUSI.
