The Nigerian Diabetes Initiative is being depose by a United
state Diabetes Service, in collaboration with the federal ministry of Health to
train Nigerian Physician to improve diabetes scheme and services across the country. The head of the preamble diabetes say WHO’s

Nigerians who had been diagnosed with diabetes.

country has the highest number of people suffering from diabetes in Africa.

Professor Chinenye explained that there was need to increased quality care
for Diabetes patient in the country through the provision of adequate
facilities, the professor also said the country was presently having shortage of specialist diabetes treatment.
