The Nigerian Navy is
to collaborate with other regional nation forces to tackle security challenges
in the government of Guinea. The chief of naval staff, VICE ADMIRAL IBOKE ETHEI BASSEY made this known at the
Interdenominational Church Service of the Nigerian Navy still on Diamond
Jubilee celebration. VICE ADMIRAL IBOKE
ETHEI BASSEY said the recent increase in activities of Pirates and Militants;
the navy is determined to reverse the trend. The Commandant Nigeria Defense
Collage REAR AMIRAL SAMUEL ALADE said
the challenges face the Nation’s territorial water and it would solely tackled.
In the sermon, REV. FATHER SAMUEL ROBERT
OKPARAJI said it is a need for thanksgiving to God for saving the Nigerian
Navy this far and pray for the nation’s leadership for the fight against
corruption and Insurgency.
