CURRENT SITUATIONS TO SETTLE IN NIGERIAN EDUCATIONAL SECTOR

The Lagos state Government in Nigeria said that He will no longer allow private schools that not registered and approved by the ministry of education to operate in the `state. The deputy governor of the state DR. IDAIYET ADEBELE stated this during the form of parties of private school in the state.

According the reporter of the event who said that thinking of the event, the deputy governor of Lagos state DR. IDAIYET ADEBELE who presented latest approval to some unique private schools; while the government will not hesitate to withdraw the license of any school operating below the established standard and regulation, DR. IDAIYET ADEBELE explained that culprits should be mean to face the wrath of the law if found wanting.

The state government has also given approval to one hundred and nineteen (119) new schools in Lagos state aside from one hundred and fourteen (114) private schools presently operating in the state.

Also on the other hand, as most schools in Plateau state Nigeria Resumes for new academic section, the state Universal Basic Education has promised to deploy more teachers to the public schools to boost the sector granted by joint administration in Jos metropolises.

Also according to reporter from Jos in Plateau state Nigeria who said that at the commencement of the school for new section, paramount more items such as books and other accessories preparing children for new class are assisted through the menu of the requirements. Still in Education sector, in some of the institution, personalities have visited so many schools in Nassarawa State in Nigeria and report that there is no attendant because children has not known the school has  resumed.

Also according to the reporter of the events who said that the Radio Nigeria visited some the private and public schools in the Nassarawa metropolises and it was observed that the turnout was very low as some of the classes were empty. The head teacher of one of the classes who took them around the classes described the situation as alarming.  According to the head teacher of the school who said that the expectations they have before resumption was that the student will turn out well, but the case is the opposite and he said that the hardship in the country has contributed as well.

Another principal of the private school called Kparavian State has exonerated the hardship parents are passing through. She said that some of the parents expressed sadness as the economy of the nation has forced them to withdraw their worth children from their schools.  One of the parents explained that the current economic situation had made parent not to meet up with the educational demands of their kids, which as well have forced the parents to withdraw their children from school due to poor and lack of salary to workers in the state. He expressed dissatisfaction towards the condition of the nonpayment of salary which had made him to withdraw his own children from school as well.

Some of the students who said that they had been derided from their schools because of nonpayment of salary to workers, and as a result their parents can no longer afford to pay their school fees and they described the situation as frustrating as their parent could not pay their school fees.

Some of the public secondary schools visited; most of the teachers seen were sitting under chairs engaged in conversations.
