THE BILL FOR A LAW TO PROVIDE PUBLIC PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP HAS UNDERGONE SECOND READING IN ENUGU STATE HOUSE OF THE ASSEMBLY IN NIGERIA


The bill for a law to provide public Private partnership in the State to enhance infrastructure and service developments was read second time at Enugu State house of the assembly. The sponsor of the bill Okechukwu Ezeugwu explain that the PPP law is to ensure that people are brought into government affairs, and  also secure the investors investment. Ezeugwu also said the law became necessary for knowing the successful Oganiru International Investment Summit which will allow the state to comply with the international investment best practices.

Members during plenary while supporting the laudable bill said that the objective and reason for the bill cease to establish public infrastructure and social amenities, the member describe the bill as a global trend that will give room for international industrial Marketization as the main source of growth in every developed society is the productive  economy. The emphasize that partnership is built on trust adding that Enugu is massive help where business can thrive and it is one of the most peaceful state in the federation.

The speaker commended the sponsor of the bill and the members for their contribution after directing the Joint committee on commerce and industry, fine art and appropriation, Judicial Ethics and Privileges is to conduct public hearing on the bill.
