The Nigerian
Army is to collaborate with the Armed forces of other countries for effective service
delivery; the chief of Army Staff LT. General Chikaobi Itai stated this when
commissioning a project in the Army peace keeping centre in Georgia Kaduna,
Nigeria.
In line with
the vision to have a professional Army in discharge of its constitutional rule,
there is need to improve the welfare of officers and men of the Armed forces. The
provision of medical facility was possible with the Assistant of Germen
Government through the German Technical Group represented by commander in French
territory cross centre Major Gen. Ahmed Mohammed. The chief of the Army Staff
Commended the German Technical Assistance Group. The facility will provide
health care to officers and Personnel as well as the families of the staff at
the centre.
The Deputy
Chairman Ambassador to Nigeria Mrs. Regina said they are determined to render
support in both technical and medical areas. Regina also said that this will go
a long way to strengthen their relationship with the Nigerian Army.
The
commandant Nigerian Army Peace Keeping Centre Brigadier General Adamu .D. sent
the German Technical Assistance Group to equipping the medical centre,
he said services provide will go a long way in supporting Nigerian Army. Brigadier General Adamu .D. maintained
that the German Technical Assistance Group and Peace Keeping Centre will
explore other areas such as Ammunition and disposal devices with more support
to come from United Nation countries like the United State.
